Whereas CSIR-NEERI has developed processes for Calcite generation using CO2, fly ash based zeolites (FAZ) under its environmental materials R&D programme and has obtained patents.  KDK College of Engineering is desirous of collaborating with CSIR-NEERI for converting calcites/zeolites/industrial and agricultural wastesinto following products.

  1. Solar cement, mortar and concrete
  2. Writing Chalk like structures and Calcite composites
  3. Geo-polymer concrete
  4. Cellular Lightweight Concrete (CLC)
  5. Building or Composite products with wastes and natural resources
7 Secrecy Agreement CSIR-National Environmental Engineering Research Institute (NEERI), Nagpur and Shrinath Engineerings, Nagpur in Association with Horizon Fuel Cell (I) Pvt. Ltd.,Nagpur. 25.08.2014

Whereas CSIR-NEERI has developed processes and materials for solar driven photo thermal energy. Horizon is desirous of collaborating with CSIR-NEERI for following products:

  1. Plasmonic materials for solar autoclave for sterilization
  2. Plasmonic materials for solar dryers and solar thermal applications
  3. Plasmonic materials based systems for steam and hydrogen generation and to use with fuel cell to generate power

Whereas CSIR-NEERI has developed processes for Chitosan-CNP/Chitosan-MNP composites under its environmental materials R&D programme and has obtained patents.

Ira Agrotech is desirous of collaborating with CSIR-NEERI for converting Chitosan-CNP/ Chitosan-MNP into following products:

  1. Food packaging (eg Mushroom) packaging (on industrial level) for keeping the food fresh for longer duration and to capture CO2 thereof
  2. Development of disinfectant / sterilization pouch to be used as quick water disinfectant /sterilization pouch in remote/geographically tough/rural areas
  3. Development of UV films to be used in reducing the UV in the form of nets/drapes
  4. Development of Surgical Suture to be used in wound treatment
  5. Development of bandages for dressing the wound

11 MoA CSIR-National Environmental Engineering Research Institute, Nagpur and Department of Biotechnology, Ministry of Science and Technology, Government of India, New Delhi 05.09.2014 This MoA defines the role and responsibilities of the participating agencies, monitoring and other matters related to the project entitled “Production and Improvement of bacterial keratinase and demonstration of feather waste management by Keratin hydrolyzing bacteria at pilot scale”.

13 Secrecy Agreement CSIR- National Environmental Engineering Research Institute (NEERI), Nagpur and RECON Energy & Sustainability Technologies, Nagpur 12.12.2014 CSIR-NEERI has developed a Multi-fuel Improved Cook stove under CSIR-800 programme.  It is required to fabricate about 100 prototypes (or more) of cook stove for further testing, field trials and dissemination. It is proposed to get these stove prototypes fabricated from REST and to enable fabrication of cook stove prototypes completely in accordance with designs and specifications provided by CSIR-NEERI
