2. OVERSEAS VISITS :

2.1

Guidelines - 1996 for Overseas visits shall apply to visits abroad in the following cases.

2.1.1	Deputation.
2.1.2	Assignment.
2.1.3	Training including equipment training.
2.1.4	Fellowship/Scholarship.
2.1.5	Study leave.
2.1.6	Sabbatical leave.

2.2

For Overseas visits, the CSIR scientists are classified under following categories:-

2.2.1	Directors and Director's grade scientists	{Group IV(7)}.
2.2.2	Scientists-G&F	{Group IV(5&6)}.
2.2.3	Scientist-EII & below	{Group IV(1 to 4)}.
