REPORT ON FOREIGN VISITS |

Submission of a foreign deputation report on the
conclusion of the mission is mandatory for every visit.
It should be made in triplicate as per the format at
Appendix XIII (vi) within a month of the return from
abroad. Non- submission of the report in time will
disqualify a scientist for further deputation,
especially because such neglect does deprive CSIR
of the timely benefit of the visits.

All the foreign deputation reports shall be critically
reviewed both at the laboratory level and at the CSIR level.
Information gathered, lessons learned, and recommendations made
shall be speedily made of. It would be the responsibility of the
laboratory to follow up, and implement the recommendation.

It is recommended that after the visit the scientist
should give a presentation on the visit for the benefit of his/her colleagues.
