Recruitment of SOs and ASOs in CSIR under CASE-2023 - regarding Dehradun examination center
Attention to CSIR CASE-2023 candidates
This office has received queries from the candidates regarding the news which appeared in different editions of Newspapers regarding CSIR SO/ASO exam at Dehradun Centre on 8th Feb, 2024. In this connection, Dehradun Police has issued a press release on 10th February, 2024. Following has appeared in the newspaper ‘Hindustan – Dehradun Edition’ on 11th February, 2024 (The newspaper clip is attached herewith) wherein it is specifically mentioned that “एसएसपी देहरादून ने शनिवार को जारी बयान में कहा है कि CSIR की और से 20 फ़रवरी तक परीक्षा आयोजित कराई जानी है. .............जाँच मैं पता चला कि परीक्षा केन्द्रों में कोई पेपर लीक नहीं हुआ है. .......वर्तमान में त्रुटी रहित परीक्षा हो रही है I उन्होंने अपील की कि सोशल मीडिया पर इसे लेकर भ्रामक सूचनाएं प्रसारित की जा रही हैं I अभ्यर्थी इन पर ध्यान न देकर परीक्षा पर ध्यान दें I “ As per the report there was no incident of paper leak in the mentioned Examination. The Police has further appealed to the candidates, who are appearing for the posts of ASOs and SOs, that they should not get misled and should concentrate on the examination.
In this connection, CSIR has already issued a communication through it’s Examination portal and through social media platform ‘X’ on 9th February, 2024 informing that the previous reports by some newspapers on the subject gave the wrong and misleading impression to the candidates. The candidates of CASE-2023 examination are accordingly informed that the examination system deployed by CSIR is robust and full proof. They should appear at the examination as per the schedule. All possible measures have been taken by CSIR to protect the merit of the candidates.
The above is issued to remove any doubts among the candidates which the media reports may have created regarding the examination process of CASE-2023.
