Joint call with India for Geo-scientific research on Mountain Hazards [Last Date: 08/04/2026]

 Objective: Geoscientific research for hazards in mountain regions (extreme events, flooding, landslides, cryosphere related hazards- permafrost, earthquakes and forest fires). This call for joint research projects (JRPs) allows researchers in Switzerland to collaborate with academic partners in India. 

Area of Focus: Extreme events, Flooding, Landslides, Cryosphere related hazards - permafrost, Earthquakes, Forest fires.

Submission Window: 8 April 2026 

Fellowship Duration: 3-4 YEARS 

Financial Support: The maximum funding for a three-year project is 300,000 Swiss francs and 400,000 Swiss francs for a four-year project.
