CSIR-Indian Institute of Chemical Technology (CSIR-IICT) joined the CSIR pavilion as one of the exhibitors at the Mega Science Technology and Industry Expo. The Expo was held as part of the India International Science Festival (IISF 2021) at Panaji, Goa, during 10-13 December 2021.

CSIR-IICT showcased its contributions to Generics & Healthcare in CSIR’s COVID-19 initiatives. Enthusiastic students from various universities, colleges and schools apart from general public thronged the CSIR pavilion. The students posed several questions about the generic drugs and CSIR efforts towards combating COVID-19.


 

CSIR-IICT participates in IISF-2021 Expo at Goa


 

Among the dignitaries, Dr Jitendra Singh, Minister of State (Independent Charge) of the Ministry of Earth Sciences, Minister of State (Independent Charge) of Science & Technology; Dr. Shekhar C. Mande, Secretary DSIR and DG CSIR; Dr. Sharmila Mande, Dr Ravichandran, Secretary MoES; Dr. S. Chandrasekhar, the then Director, CSIR-IICT; Dr. Sunil Kumar Singh, Director CSIR-NIO; Shri Jayant Sahasrabudhe, National Organising Secretary, Vijnana Bharati; and several other officials from CSIR, MoES, DST, SERB, Vijnana Bharati etc., visited the pavilion.

The CSIR Pavilion received the “Best Pavilion in the Expo” award.
