2026-2027 Fulbright Foreign Language Teaching Assistant (FLTA) Program [Last Date: 12/08/2025]
Objective: The Fulbright Foreign Language Teaching Assistant (FLTA) Program aims to enhance the teaching of foreign languages at U.S. colleges and universities while providing participants the opportunity to refine their teaching skills and gain cultural insights. It fosters mutual understanding between the U.S. and other countries through educational exchange.

Project Duration: 9 Months
Financial Support: All FLTA fellows receive a monthly stipend, health insurance and travel support. U.S. host institutions provide tuition awards to support the required coursework. The FLTA program does not provide J-2 visas for spouses or dependents.
Deputation:- This fellowship is not recognized as prestigious by CSIR, therefore not covered under the CSIR foreign deputation guidelines, especially regarding financial and leave benefits.
