Australian Alumni Grant Scheme (AAGS) – 2024 India Round 5 (invited by The Australian Mission in India) [Last Date: 28th Feb 2024]

Eligibility: The AAGS is open to all Indian nationals who have graduated from a recognised Australian tertiary institution, this includes recipients of Australian Government scholarships, GoI scholarship recipients, and private fee-paying students. The AAGS is also open to all Indian nationals who have completed short-term tertiary courses at registered Australian institutions through Australia Awards Fellowships and Short Courses, or have undertaken research with Australian institutions or have participated in Australian government hosted programs, or were recipients of Australian Government scholarships, or Australian University scholarships. 

Project grants: Up to INR 10 lakh (approx. AUD 20,000) 

Eligible activities: AAGS supports a range of projects and activities that contribute to its objectives, including but not limited to Knowledge or Technology transfer, R&D and Innovation, Startup seed funding, Training, workshops, seminars, Capacity building, mentoring or coaching, Academic Research, Organisational strengthening, Community development activities, public awareness campaigns 

Priority Development Area: Cyber Security; Critical Technology; Critical minerals; Maritime cooperation; Education (Edutech); Resources & Mining, Equipment, Technology, Services; Science & Innovation; Agribusiness / Agtech; Energy; Health; Infrastructure/Urban Development; Financial Services; Sports; Tourism
