- Correspondence with Intelligence Bureau for Clearance in respect of newly Appointed Scientists.
- Dealing with all types of references / clarifications / approvals emanating from CSIR (Residence) Allotment Rules.
- Processing all matters of delayed requests for Compassionate Appointment where approval of DG, CSIR is required. Resignation/Voluntary Retirement/Compulsory Retirement in respect of Chief Scientists and above.
- Specific Cases of Lien/Deputation/forwarding of application outside the organization.
- Processing of requests for recruitment in lateral Entry in Group III for approval of Competent Authority
- Specific Cases of Medical/Financial Assistance from welfare fund for in-service employees.
- Processing of request for considering delayed applications/prior approval for Compassionate Appointment.
- Incentive for Higher Education for Non-Technical Staff.
- Inter-Lab transfer request of S&T Staff.
- Compilations and forwarding of ESM and Probity Data.
- Providing clarification on references received from Legal Section.
- Clarification on existing polices in respect of the following:
- Allowances- HRA/TA etc.
- Honorarium / Fees
- Pay fixation/Counting of Past Service
- NPS/OPS
- Reservation Matters of SC/ST/Minorities/OBC/PWs.
- LTC/Leave rules
- Issues related with Isolated Categories
- Casual Workers/QHFs/Ad-Hoc Appointments/PA
- Compassionate Appointment
- CPF/GPF
- Newly Added Responsibilities
- Data Compilation for Mission Mode Recruitment
- Processing of the requests for engagement of retired CSIR employees as consultant’s cases
- FR 56 J- Representation Committee
- FR 56 J- Review Committee in Specific cases
- Compilation of data of monthly report of FR 56 J from all CSIR Labs/Instts.
- Compilation of monthly report of timely verification of caste certificates from all CSIR Labs/Instts.
