Objective: The Carl-Zeiss-Humboldt Research Award aims to honor internationally recognized researchers in the STEM fields (Science, Technology, Engineering, and Mathematics). The award seeks to acknowledge their significant contributions to their disciplines and their efforts in promoting diversity within the STEM community.

 Area of Focus: In the fields of mathematics, computer science or natural sciences and technology (MINT)

 Project Duration: 6 to 12 months 

Financial Support:

• Each award is valued at 100,000 EUR
• Additional Funding: Up to 50,000 EUR to cover costs arising from the award winner’s collaboration with specialist colleagues in Germany, such as attending academic conferences, scientific equipment, including junior researchers, or childcare.
