Strengthening India–Norway partnerships in Science, Technology & Innovation
During the visit to Norway, DG, CSIR signed five important MoUs/Agreements to deepen bilateral cooperation in research, innovation, sustainability and green technologies.
The collaborations include:
- DSIR/CSIR – Research Council of Norway (RCN)
- CSIR – SINTEF Collaboration Agreement (2026–2028)
- CSIR–SINTEF Project Agreement on Ocean & Offshore Wind Energy
- CSIR, AcSIR – Norwegian University of Science and Technology (NTNU) Joint Declaration of Intent
- CSIR-NGRI – Emerald Geomodelling
These partnerships will advance joint R&D, clean energy, offshore wind, circular economy, sustainability, geosciences, academic mobility and innovation-led industrial collaboration between the two nations.
